Alistair studied electronic design engineering at Manchester University where he gained his master’s degree. Immediately after leaving university he joined GE Intelligent Platforms in Towcester specialising in ruggedized military electronics equipment. From there Alistair joined Waters corporation in Wilmslow designing electronics for a range of mass spectrometers.

Alistair is unique in the electronics industry, not only being skilled in a wide range of electronic design disciplines, but also possessing excellent communication skills as well as having project management vision. This multi-talented skill set allows Alistair to both plan and implement solutions that would otherwise require a larger team to achieve.

Alistair’s work is also his hobby and interest. So, you’ll often find him buried in the latest electronic equipment web page reviews and latest technology reviews, which makes him formidably well informed and up-to-date with all things technological.
